Kim Lewis (born 1957) is from Milwaukee, USA, and currently resides and works in Amsterdam.

Lewis earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1979. She furthered her studies with graduate courses at Rutgers University in 1982. Additionally, she pursued studies in multimedia art at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in 1992.

Lewis draws inspiration from Amsterdam’s opulent still-life culture of the 16th and 17th centuries. The Dutch masters were brilliant at transforming seemingly mundane objects into meditations on life, death, and abundance. There's something wonderfully witty about taking a piece of fruit, some silverware, and a half-peeled lemon and turning it into a complex philosophical statement.

Using her own unique perspective, Lewis channels her admiration for these great works into her own art. Leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, she collaborates with AI to produce her opulent, unique creations, while still keeping a sense of balance.

In summary, Kim Lewis's artistic journey weaves together tradition, personal vision, and cutting-edge technology to create captivating works of art.
